In this article the the authors analyze the possibility of application of genetic algorithms to cope with tasks of optimization on an example of a problem of estimation of the regional industrial efficiency. A calculation comparison on the linear model of the region, made by means of genetic and simplex methods, is presented, and a possibility of application of the genetic methods to the model, in which the demand is prescribed to be a logistic curve, is described.

The article describes the reasons of hydrocarbon contamination and types of pollutions: surface and subsurface. The theoretical fundamentals of the decontamination process with the use of liquid СО 2 are considered. The formulas of quantitative evaluation of hydrocarbon contamination are presented. The mechanism of hydrocarbon decontamination of the surface and pore throats with the help of thermal «shock» and the «gas wedge» is proposed, the efficiency of cleaning is considered. The formula for determination of the time of the decontamination process has been calculated. The equation of continuity of fuel blasting process from the open pores of metal has been derived.
