Abstract

Drawbacks in the existing practice of normalizing rations for highly productive dairy animals are discussed in details. Developments made at the Research Institute of Physiology, Biochemistry and Feeding of Agricultural Animals providing adequate and economically substantiated feeding systems are outlined.
