Information concerning problems with launching Technical Regulation in the dairy sector is given. Questions that arise in relation to this document more often are commented.

The company OOO Milliseconds Technologies participating in the forum Dairy industry-2009 presented at the exhibition a new method of low temperature pasteurization for food products that extend shelf life.

Requirements to reception stations at milk processing plants in the light of approved Technical Regulation are listed. Information is also given concerning development of the automated control system for milk reception stations made by the design bureau Milk Machines Russkih.

Present day situation of the sector is analyzed (according to the results of 2007-2008) and principle trends of governmental support of the dairy animal breeding in the frames of the Program of agriculture development and agricultural products, raw materials and foods market regulation for 2008-2012.

This is a story about activity of the state farm Plemzavod Rodina - one of the largest agricultural producers in the Vologda region and in Russia. Principle new technologies launched for increasing animal herds, milk yields and milk production per 100 hectares of agricultural lands are shown.

Reasons resulting in reduction of milk production in the country are shown. Data about milk productivity of various cow breeds in 2007 are given. Positive results of the activity undertaken in the Leningrad region with the aim to improve genetic potential are shown. Some problems common for the dairy husbandry of the country are mentioned.

Specialists of the Novgorodskii State University after Ya. Mudryi studied effects of feed supplement Fitocomplex consisting of flour of various wild plants on milk produced by the Ayrshire cows in the period of first milking. Positive effect has been found when applying 10-30 g of the supplement per head per day: fat level and total solids as well as yield increased. Application of low intensive lazer irradiation (NILI) separately and in combination with ozonizing of the air in cow shed promotes digestability of nutritive and biologically active substances and energy exchange

Quality and feed rations for dairy animals in some regions of Russia were studied. Results of the survey are presented and special attention is paid to improving quality of volumetric feed.

Necessity and efficiency of the rations balancing according to amino acids in the dairy animal breeding is proved in the article. The product Belkov-M, a transit soy protein, has been applied in the farm Pervomaiskoe (Leningrad region) and resulted in an average daily yield increase 2,94 l per head a day.

Experience of adding feed yeasts to cow rations is discussed. It was established that the supplement improves nutrients digestability, stimulates cow milk productivity and improves nutritive value of milk.

Probiotic supplement based on 4 strains consortium isolated from cow rumen content has been developed. Its application results in milk yield improvements and increasing fat and protein levels in milk.

Yersiniosis is being characterized capable to cause toxicoinfection after milk and milk products consumption. Possible ways and reasons of its occurence are shown and recommendations are given how to prevent contamination of milk with yersinia.

Study was carried out for assessing effects of endometritis on technological characteristics of milk. Microbial composition of milk received from cows suffering endometritis was also studied.

Rational application of antiseptics and disinfectants is the most efficient way to prevent inflammation process and to make routine maintenance. Treatment of the surroundings in a farm as the highest risk of infection transfer with 1% water solution of Anavidin resulted in 4 times reduction of contamination. Description and results of microbiological evaluation of the plant designed for preparation of disinfecting solutions are given. Technical-economical calculations proved expediency of using disinfecting solutions based on ozonized water.
