Synthetic oligonucleotide primers Bill1F and Bill2R for detecting DNA of B. longum subsp. longum in PCR possessing specific features and allowing to detect and identify strains and cultures of these bacteria applied in starter cultures for fermented milk products manufacturing have been developed.
