Models of outcomes for receiving information codes which do not contain zero symbols
Abstract
Improvement of technological processes management information systems defines greater demands on the reliability of information systems, characterized by probabilities of outcomes receive information. In order to ensure high levels of reliability for long transmission there are widely used non-binary codes, which are actually pseudo-random sequences. Most preferred among them from the standpoint of immunity are codes not containing zero symbols. In this paper there are estimated the probabilities of outcomes of receiving information for the various models of communication channels with codes which do not contain zero symbols.

The direct method and algorithm of construction of splines of the third order in the control problems of drives performance movement
Abstract
When using predictions in the controling of the rotational motion arises the need to build a double-smooth trajectory passing through its previously measured key points. As piecewise polynomial curve, providing the desired smoothness, there is considered the interpolation by cubic splines that in the intervals between the nodes are actually the cubic parabola, continuously connecting the nodes with the degree of smoothness. When imposing additional boundary conditions, data splines minimize its total curvature.

Calculation of the efficiency of catching drops in the axial centrifugal separators with the paddle swirlers
Abstract
Produced measurements have shown, that at calculation of the efficiency of separation of the dispersed phase in the axial centrifugal separators with the paddle swirlers it is required to consider the effect of three factors: deposition under the action of inertial forces, turbulent diffusion and the displacements of particles under the action of a non-zero radial component of the averaged velocity of the flow. In the case of small particles it can be considered the individual impact of these factors. Trapping efficiency mainly depends on the magnitude of the concentration of fine particles and their deposition rate in the near-wall zone. Each selected separator design meets the individual range of steady work, at which the minimum amount of ash is gained.

The role of chromium in corrosion-electrochemical behavior of carbon steels
Abstract
In neutral (рН 7,55) and alkalescent (pH= 8,74) chloride-containing solutions there was examined the electrochemical corrosion behavior of carbon steel model containing up to 1,05 % Cr. It is shown that the chromium containing in carbon steel hampers their passivation, but microalloying it with titanium has a beneficial effect on their passivity and pitting resistance. The view is suggested that the observed effect of chromium and titanium on passivity and pitting resistance of low-alloy steels is connected with the change of the energy state of the surface of the metal.

Investigation of the influence of the catalyst in the process of producing biodiesel using supercritical methanol
Abstract
The article discusses various ways to produce biodiesel fuel: in the presence of homogeneous catalysts, in the presence of heterogeneous catalysts, in supercritical methanol. There was experimentally confirmed that the process of obtaining methyl ethers of fatty acids (FAME) in the supercritical methanol on the selectivity, on replacement of the target product and process stability in time can compete with catalytic methods. There was studied the efficiency of the catalyst at the transesterification of rapeseed oil in supercritical methanol under the following process parameters: temperature of 300°C, the pressure of 300 atmospheres, the volume fraction of oil 0,5. There was evaluated that during the first hours after the filing of the reagents into the reactor in the presence of a catalyst TiO2/Ti concentration FAME in the oil layer of the reaction products is more than in not catalysed reaction. However, approximately one hour after the beginning of the process of catalytic activity was sharply reduced, and the output of the FAME becomes less, than without a catalyst. By means of mass-spectral analysis of the product, extracted from the surface of the catalyst, it is discovered a tumor in the process of interesterification low-volatile and poorly soluble substances, blocking the active centres of the catalyst. In addition, the reduction in catalytic activity became the result of partial destruction of the surface layer of TiO2. It is established, that the washing of the spent catalyst mixture of solvents with the subsequent heating at 350°C allows largely to restore the activity of the catalyst.

Leaching of non-ferrous metals from metallurgical slag by ferric sulfate solutions produced by bio-oxidation
Abstract
The paper presents the results of a study of leaching of copper, nickel, cobalt and iron from metallurgical slag. It is shown that ferric sulfate solutions produced during the oxidation of bivalent iron by associations of acidophilic chemolithotrophic bacteria, adequately allowed to transfer non-ferrous metals into the liquid phase in 1 hour at a temperature of 70 º C. Thus the extraction of copper reached 90%, nickel - 88%, cobalt - 67% and extraction of iron into a solution was about 30%.

Energy state of a surface of carbon steels as a characteristic of their corrosion resistance
Abstract
The state of various areas of the surface of a test melt of carbon steel containing 0,2% of carbon and 0,75% of chrome was analyzed by means of methods of energy-dispersive analysis and scanning tunneling micro- and spectroscopy. Without corrosion-active sulfide inclusions, the local corrosion spots are inert chromium carbides and oxides of aluminum. Spots of localized corrosion occur in places where above mentioned carbides and oxides brake the surface due to accelerated etching of the metal/inclusion boundary, where are seen a rapid increase of the tunneling activity.

Features of corrosion-mechanical failure of gas and oil pipelines
Abstract
The paper considers the kinetics of stress-corrosion defects in the initial stages of destruction. The authors described stress-corrosion damage of pipelines that are in similar conditions to the external environment with different design parameters and operating modes. There are identified two stages of progress of stress-corrosion defects in relation to the influence of different groups of factors. It is shown that in the metal surface layer of walls of a pipeline under designed pressure there are conditions for destruction due to corrosion cracking under stress.
