THE ANALYSIS OF THERMOELECTRIC MODULE EFFICIENCY IN THE COOLING SYSTEMS

Vasilyev E.N., Derevyanko V.A.

Abstract

A heat transfer process in the usual system of the heat sink and the thermoelectric cooling system are considered. The calculations of the process characteristics are carried out. The dependences of the cooling efficiency on integral parameters of the heat-removing system, radio electronic component thermal power, load characteristics and energy consumption of the thermoelectric module are received. It is established that at preset values of thermal power of a radioelement and thermal resistance of the heat-removing system there is an optimum value of the module current at which efficiency of cooling is maximum.

MATHEMATICAL SIMULATION OF ELECTROPHORESIS OF LIVE CELLS BY MULTIELECTRODE DEVICE

Denisenko V.V., Zamay S.S., Zamay A.S.

Abstract

A mathematical model of the microchip that concentrates live cells in a small volume of liquid by electrophoresis is created. Space distributions of electric field are calculated for a cylindrical conductor with axially symmetrical electrodes. Equipotentials, field lines and lines of constant electric field strength squared are plotted. Cells are simulated as good conducted balls bounded with a low conducting membrane. The membrane has no influence on electric current if the frequency of the electric field is high enough. Then a cell behaves as a good conducting ball. It is polarized and a force appears which pulls the cell into the regions with the strong electric field. Trajectories of the cells are defined for the cell movement that is the result of this force and viscosity of the liquid. Singularities of the electric field distributions are found near the lines which separate boundary isolators and electrodes. The factors which limit effectiveness of the microchip are analyzed.

Zvonkov V.B., Popov A.M.

Abstract

This paper is devoted to the comparative investigation of the application of the classical optimization methods (zero, first and second orders) and also genetic modifications for solving of the complex optimization problems with various specific features. It is an actual modern scientific problem. The classical optimization methods based on calculation of the first and second derivatives of the function or only function values are not capable to optimize multiextreme, ravine surface functions with the set of irregular local optimum, etc. Therefore genetic algorithms and its modifications are applied in these situations. Program systems have been developed for comparison of methods with programming language named C++. These systems have been debugged and tested with the representative set of problems. The results of the experiments were processed with statistical methods. High efficiency and expediency of application of selfadjusted genetic algorithm have been proved for solving of one criterion global optimization problems. The expediency of application of the developed modifications was shown for solving of various classes of optimization problems and intelligent data analysis in the previous researches.

QUANTUM-CHEMICAL STUDY OF MOLECULAR HYDROGEN BINDING ON [NiFe]-HYDROGENASE ACTIVE SITE

Kaliakin D.S., Varganov S.A., Lykhin A.O., Kuzubov A.A., Krasnov P.O.

Abstract

This work is focused on the active site of [NiFe]-hydrogenase. The wide interest in hydrogenases is explained by their potential application in catalytic oxidation and reduction of molecular hydrogen. In this work the H 2 binding to the active site of [NiFe]-hydrogenase is studied using density functional theory methods. The binding energies of H 2 to the iron and nickel centers are found. The intersection between the potential energy curves of the singlet and triplet states of the [NiFe]-hydrogenase active site, with molecular hydrogen bound to it, is demonstrated. The results of this work show that the molecular hydrogen binding to [NiFe]-hydrogenase active site has nonadiabatic spin-forbidden character. Therefore, to create an efficient catalyst based on hydrogenase structural models, it is essential to create bioinorganic complexes capable of changing their spin states during catalytic process.

ABOUT THE NONPARAMETRIC IDENTIFICATION OF THE OXYGEN-CONVERTER STEELMAKING CONTROL SYSTEM

Kornet M.E.

Abstract

The paper considers the problem of the nonparametric identification of the discrete and continuous process of the basic oxygen steel melting. The identification peculiarities in conditions of parametric and nonparametric uncertainty are pointed out. The appropriateness of the nonparametric methods use in conditions of small information given a priori is emphasized. Some non-parametrical models of the process of basic oxygen steel melting are built according to the key output variables determining the metal chemical composition at turndown: carbon (C), sulfur (S), phosphorus (P) and manganese (Mn). Some results of the modeling process of the basic oxygen steel melting showed that the process is conducted in the framework of the technological order, however, it is not enough for the qualified control by the melting process.

Krasnova D.A.

Abstract

Group properties of the equations of the movement of a two-dimensional layer of ideal liquid concerning the function describing thickness of a layer of liquid under free border are investigated. The equations are written down in the modified variables that allowed to record area borders on a variable. The task of the group analysis is set, the continued operator on the first derivatives is found, using the criterion of invariancy, the defining equations are constructed and equivalence transformations for system of the equations (1)—(4) are found. Transformations of equivalence are such transformations which keep structure of initial system of the equations. It is proved that the equivalence transformations for the system (5)—(8) have the structure of the infinite-dimensional group of transformations. This task has applied the value for finding of exact decisions of systems of the differential equations of a look (1)—(4).

Sobol A.S.

Abstract

The paper dwells on the issues of building NewSQL database in a private “cloud”, subject to the limitations database. It reviews formalized requirements for a future NewSQL database, which will serve EDMS (electronic document management system) and a system of business intelligence of a company. There are developed methods for using NewSQL systems in a private “cloud” to achieve the best performance at preservation of the requirements of ACID (atomicity, consistency, isolation, durability). The results of comparing NewSQL database in problems of access and query processing based on the developed techniques are presented. The best version of the selected DBMS building is defined. It is shown that the database meets the requirements of a VoltDB. The VoltDB exceeds the performance more than 2 times compared with traditional solutions. The performance solution has increased by 14 % after application of the developed techniques. It is important to note that the presented solution fully meets the criteria for a private “cloud”.

ABOUT ANALYTICAL CONTINUATION OF THE MULTIPLE POWER SERIES WITH THE m-HOMOGENEOUS POLYNOMIAL MATRIX METHOD TO THE GENERALIZED STAR MITTAG-LEFFLER

Yakovlev E.I.

Abstract

The work is devoted to the analytical continuation of the multiple power series in the class of areas generalizing stars. With the help of multiple power series reanalysis by m-homogeneous polynomials constructed continuation of this series of in (m 1, ..., m n ) -circular area, which are a natural generalization of circular areas in C n. Based on this decomposition, the multiple of a power series analytically continues maximum m-star region called m-star Mittag-Leffler function f defined by this row. This analytic continuation is a superposition of m-homogeneous polynomials, which decomposes a power series with an infinite triangular matrix, which elements do not depend on the function f. The paper contains an example, when m-star Mittag-Leffler differs from a normal star Mittag-Leffler.

TEXT CATEGORIZATION BY COEVOLUTIONARY GENETIC ALGORITHM

Gasanova T.O., Sergienko R.B., Minker W., Semenkin E.S.

Abstract

In this paper we propose a model of text categorization, which combines a word clustering algorithm with coevolutionary genetic algorithm. Clustering is used in order to reduce the feature space dimension and genetic algorithm optimizes parameters of the model. The proposed method can be applied in large-scale information retrieval and data mining problems and it can be easily transportable to different domains and different languages since our approach does not require any domain-related or linguistic information. The performance on the data from the text-mining campaign DEFT’08 shows that the proposed method can compete with existing information retrieval models.

A NEW METHOD FOR NATURAL LANGUAGE CALL ROUTING PROBLEM SOLVING

Gasanova T.O., Sergienko R.B., Minker W., Zhukov E.A.

Abstract

Natural Language call routing remains a complex and challenging research area in machine intelligence and language understanding. This paper is in the area of classifying user utterances into different categories. The focus is on design of algorithm that combines supervised and unsupervised learning models in order to improve classification quality. We have shown that the proposed approach is able to outperform existing methods on a large dataset and do not require morphological and stop-word filtering. In this paper we present a new formula for term relevance estimation, which is a modification offuzzy rules relevance estimation for fuzzy classifier. We propose to split the classification task into two steps: 1) “garbage” class identification; 2) further classification into meaningful classes. The performance of the proposed algorithm is compared to several standard classification algorithms on the database without the “garbage” class and found to outperform them with the accuracy rate of 85,55 %. Combination of our approach with 9-NN algorithm for two-stage classification problem definition provides the accuracy rate of 77,11 % for test sample at whole.

Ryzhikov I.S.

Abstract

The optimal control problem for nonlinear dynamic systems is considered. The proposed approach is based on both partially analytical and partially numerical techniques of the optimal control problem solving. Optimal control problem is reduced to unconstrained extremum problem, which is related to seeking for the initial point of the co-state variables that would satisfy the boundaries. To solve the optimization problem, well-known global optimization techniques are suggested and compared. The performance of the evolutionary strategies algorithm was increased by implementing the special restarting condition in the scheme.

EMOTION RECOGNITION AND SPEAKER IDENTIFICATION FROM SPEECH

Sidorov M.Y., Zablotskiy S.G., Minker W., Semenkin E.S.

Abstract

The performance of spoken dialogue systems (SDS) is not perfect yet, especially for some languages. Emotion recognition from speech (ER) is a technique which can improve the SDS behavior by finding critical points in the human-machine interaction and changing a dialogue strategy. Inclusion of the speaker specific information, by conducting the speaker identification procedure (SI) at the set up of ER task could also be used in order to improve the dialogue quality. Choosing of both appropriate speech signal features and machine learning algorithms for the ER and SI remain a complex and challenging problem. More than 50 machine learning algorithms were applied in the study for ER and SI tasks, using 9 multi-language corpora (Russian, English, German, and Japanese) of both acted and non-acted emotional utterance recordings. The study provides the results of evaluation as well as their analysis and future directions.

ON THE CONCEALMENT OF TRANSMISSION ERRORS FOR DISTRIBUTED SPEECH RECOGNITION SYSTEMS

Zaykovskiy D.

Abstract

The client-server speech recognition systems face the challenge to provide consistent performance over diverse channel conditions. It is therefore necessary to develop methods which could anticipate the effect of the transmission errors. In this paper we consider an error mitigation approach which does not modify the original data; instead it tries to reconstruct lost information at the receiver via interpolation of successfully transmitted features. Using the packet identification number the DSR server is able to decide unambiguously which packets were lost and which were closest packets received without error. With correctly received packets before and after the burst, error mitigation module can interpolate missing features.

Abstract

This article provides the task of estimation of the antenna pointing system disturbing moment in the experimental process. For this purpose the installation for the inertia simulation is used. The value of disturbing moments created by the movement of the antenna at a constant rate, as well as the recruitment and reducing the rate at moving closer to the target is estimated. The value of the resulting disturbing moment at the place of the docking unit of the mechanical guidance system antennas is estimated. The value of the possible angular deviation of the spacecraft when exposed the disturbing moment generated by moving the antenna is estimated. According to the requirements on the accuracy of the orientation of the antennas and spacecraft "Luch-5," the results are considered acceptable and can be used to assess the impact on the accuracy of the orientation of the spacecraft and orientation in the space when you point the antenna to the ground station, international space station, space vehicles, which are on the low and circular orbits.

Zuev A.A., Tolstopyatov M.I.

Abstract

The subject of the study is the theoretical research of the process in consideration with heat emission in the cavity rotation between the rotor and the stator of a gas turbine. For the result of the dependency which allows to make a calculation of the local heat emission coefficient in the wall of a rotation disk (rotor) and the fixed wall of the framework (stator), the method of the integral ratios is used. As a result of the performed work, the dependency has been brought out. Realization of the dependency into the software will make the calculation of the heat currents in the axial elements of the construction of a gas turbine. The comparative analysis with the theories of different authors along with the calculation of the local heat emission coefficient into the wall of the rotation disk has given the satisfactory convergence. The comparative analysis of the dependency showed higher coefficient of the heat emission from a rotating flow in the cavern into the wall of the stator than the rotor did.

Sidorov A.S., Goryashin N.N.

Abstract

This paper covers developing and modeling of a power supply system of a standalone satellite communication terminal for remote monitoring of environmental conditions and manmade objects state. A new structure of a power supply system of a standalone satellite communication terminal where Si solar array is used as a primary power source and supercapacitors with high lifetime and low value thermal characteristics are used as a reservoir power source, is proposed. Expressions allowing calculating minimal solar array power, energy stored in supercapacitors, their quantity in dependence of average load power, environmental conditions, daytime and nighttime duration, are proposed. A P-SP/CE model of the proposed power supply system was developed. This model was simulated in MicroCAP 7.1. The simulation results confirmed operability of the proposed power supply system.

Fateev A.V., Emelyanov D.V., Tentilov U.A., Ovchinnikov A.V., Lukyanenko M.V.

Abstract

The question of minimisation of an error of the calculation of the aerial phase centre concerning the solar-terrestrial co-ordinate system at the passage of the singular points of an orbit is cosidered. The algorithms of an anticipatory turn which are put aboard the space vehicle and in the consumer equipment are developed. The given algorithms allow to determine the value of a course corner of the space vehicle on the sites of the anticipatory turn. The knowledge of a course corner allows to calculate corrections to the co-ordinates of the aerial phase centre. The developed algorithms allow to raise the accuracy of the co-ordinates setting of the consumer on the sites of the anticipatory turn.

THEORETICAL INVESTIGATION OF LITHIUM DIFFUSION ON THE SURFACE AND SUBSURFACE LAYERS OF TITANIUM DIOXIDE AND TIN DIOXIDE

Eliseeva N.S., Popov Z.I., Fedorov A.S., Kuzubov A.A., Visotin M.A.

Abstract

The geometric structure of the plates of nanometer thickness compositions SnO 2 and TiO 2, as well as the properties of the diffusion of lithium atoms in them were investigated by using the method of the density functional theory (DFT). The optimal position of the lithium atoms on the surface and subsurface layers of nanoplates was calculated. It is shown that lithium atoms effectively adsorbed on the surface of the oxide, and the most advantageous location of the lithium atom in the sorption on the surface of a position is above the metal atom. The height of the potential barriers of the transition of lithium atoms between the optimal positions is calculated and it is shown that lithium atoms can penetrate the plate only by the transformation of the nearby structure of the oxide.

INFLUENCE OF THE LIGANDS ON THE MOLECULAR HYDROGEN BINDING WITH A HALF-MODEL OF THE [NiFe]-HYDROGENASE ACTIVE SITE

Eremina A.D., Kuzubov A.A., Varganov S.A., Lykhin A.O., Serzhantova M.V.

Abstract

The density functional for the characterization of the half-model [NiFe]-hydrogenase active site is defined. The binding energy of the molecular hydrogen with ferrous iron in [FeCO(SCH 3) 2(CN) 2H 2] 2- complex is determined by the coupled cluster with the full treatment singles and doubles and estimate to the connected triples contribution using many-body perturbation theory. The results show that ligands in [Fe(SCH 3) 2(CO) 3P 2], [Fe(SCH 3) 2(CN) 3H 2] 3-, [FeCN(SCH 3) 2(CO) 2H 2] 1, [FeCO(SCH 3) 2(CN) 2H 2] 2- complexes form a distorted octahedral coordination with ferrous iron. The substitution of the CO by CN ligand in complex [FeCO(SCH 3) 2(CN) 2H 2] 2- leads to the stabilization of molecular hydrogen in the vertex of octahedron and elongation H-H bond. It is determined that all modeled structures are Cubas complexes.

NANOMETALLIC FUEL FOR THE ROCKET ENGINES

Krushenko G.G.

Abstract

The fuel occupies a considerable part of the rocket mass, so researches for the possibility of its volume decrease are carrying out constantly. Therefore one of the possible ways is to use the metals among which aluminum is high energy effective. At the same time it is determined that aluminum powders with nanometer diapason particles possess higher fuel characteristics in comparison with macrocrystalline aluminum. The technology of obtaining the nanopowder aluminum by the method of electric explosion of the conductor is described. High energy effectiveness of nanopowder aluminum connects with a rise of the accumulated energy in its particles. The use of nanopowder aluminum allows to decrease the fuel mass.

THE CHOICE OF THE ACTIVE SPACE FOR MULTICONFIGURATIONAL SELF-CONSISTENT-FIELD IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE METALLOPROTEINES ACTIVE SITES

Lykhin A.O., Kuzubov A.A., Varganov S.A., Serzhantova M.V., Eliseeva N.S.

Abstract

The article considers the electronic structure of oxidized state of the cluster [Fe(SCH 3) 4J which is an analog of the active site in rubredoxin proteins, in the framework of multiconfigurational self-consistent-field with complete and restriction active space. Our results show the applicability of the restriction active space to metal complex. The active space with the most accurate description of the static electron correlation is defined. The multireference character of the electronic wavefunctions is achieved by using two sets of molecular orbitals. The first set is five pure 3d-orbitals of Fe and the second three mixed molecular orbitals, which are linear combination of iron 3d-orbitals and sulfur p-orbitals. Based on RASSCF wavefunctions and this choice of the active space it is possible to describe binuclear metal complexes.

IMPROVEMENT OF THE TECHNOLOGY OF CASTINGS TURBOPUMP ASSEMBLY AIRCRAFT POWER PLANTS USING THE COMPUTER SIMULATION SYSTEM LVM Flow CV

Oborin L.A., Kolmykov V.A., Zhereb V.P., Shilova M.E.

Abstract

The process of solidification of steel castings such as VNL was investigated by the computer simulation using the system LVM Flow CV. Processes of erratic behavior of the melt crystallization front for the first fifty seconds, accompanied by a significant fluctuations in temperature and solidified metal, which bind to the gas evolution at the solidification front and the substantial value of the enthalpy change of crystallization were found. It is proposed to conduct melting in vacuum and use the mold material with a high heat storage capacity. Computer simulation for these conditions showed a monotonic possible temperature and magnitude of melt crystallized in an initial stage of crystallization, reducing by 60 % the duration of the period of crystallization and the creation offavorable conditions for the cooling of the casting. The reliability of the computer simulations was confirmed by the good quantitative agreement between the crystallization temperature according to the results of computer simulation and thermal analysis of the real alloy.
