Immunohistochemical criteria of the functional placental maturity estimation

Aylamazyan Е.К., Lapina Е.А., Kvetnoy I.М.

Abstract

Placental tissue produces more than 100 biologically active molecules: hormones, cytokines, growth factors, enzymes, and others. The correlations between pregnant women age and expression of melatonin, prolactin, CD34, NO—synthase, HLA—DR, CD35, Mcl—1, p53 expression in villous chorion of human mature placenta have been shown. Computer image analysis is not recognized the differences in optical density and expression square values of above immunohistochemical markers either in mature and overmature pregnancy. These data demonstrate high functional activity of overmature placenta. Thus, it may be postulated that the «aging» of placenta is not connected with pregnancy duration but it is determined by the biological age of pregnant women.

Tthe structure of uterine contractions anomalies in contemporary obstetrics: clinical and statistical aspects

Savitskiy A.G.

Abstract

The complex clinical end statistical analysis of features of current of labors in the period with 1994 for 2003 has shown, that in structure of anomalies of patrimonial activity there are authentic changes. Along with significant decrease of frequency of revealing of weakness of patrimonial activity and tendency to decrease of frequency of revealing not—coordinated of patrimonial activity frequency of revealing of fast and prompt labors essentially has increased. Diagnostics not—coordinated of patrimonial activity in the greatest degree is connected to preferences, erudition and experience of the doctor, than with real correlation of revealed attributes and symptoms specific of this pathology of labors. The precisely same attributes and symptoms are characteristic for some variants of weakness of patrimonial activity, that gives the basis to attribute both kinds of this pathology of labors to hypertonic dysfunction of uterus, in a basis of which development lays corporal—cervical dyssinergia, instead of the pathology the driver of a rhythm, as it was considered earlier.

Influence gene vdr3 genotypes and alleles on bone turnover in early postmenopausae

Zazerskaya I.Е., Aseev М.V., Kuznetsova L.V., Moskalenko М.V., Ivashenko Т.Е., Baranov V.S.

Abstract

Studies on the genetics have focused on the regulation of bone mineral density (BMD) a major predictor of osteoporotic fracture risk. Evidence for a genetic contribution to BMD regulation comes primarily from twin studies — that’s hawed that between 50—70 % of variance in BMD is caused by genetic factors. A great deal of research has been done on gene candidate VDR.3 on 176 postmenopausal women (108 natural menopause and 69 surgical menopause). Polymorphisms of vitamin D receptor have been associated in our group with the speed of bone turnover, registries by DEXA with interval 12 months and DDR test. The every second patient with genotype tt has chance to accompany group with osteoporosis in postmenopausae. In group of women with highs speed of bone turnover frequency t allel in 3 time more than in group with slow bone turnover.

Free radical reactions in the development of combined hyperplastic processes in female reproductive system organs

Niauri D.A., Chepur S.V., Popov Е.N., Charitonov К.P., Kuznetsova I.V.

Abstract

Intact myometrium specimen, received from 56 women of reproductive age during surgical interventions. There were 30 women with combined hyperplastic processes in the reproductive system organs (uterine myoma, endometrium hyperplasia, adenomyosis, benign ovarian tumors, mastopathy, background cervical pathology), and in 26 cases solitary uterine myoma was found. At infrared spectrometry of the lyofilized myometrium, taken from patients with combined proliferation foci, a stable peak with wave number 3500 sm—1 was found, which reflects the accumulation of molecules with oxidized OH—groups and a change in proportion of OH—/NH—containing molecules. At the study of the myometrium of patients with single myoma focus the described peak was absent. The acquired data suggests, that combined benign hyperplasias in the reproductive system organs are accompanied by the oxidative stress cascade reactions, characterized by uncontrollable production of free radicals and/or insufficiency of antiradical protection mechanisms.

The negative experience of somatostatin synthetic analogist using in therapy of policystoc ovaries

Grinvald D.V., Kirsanov А.A., Kasumova А.R., Bondarenko М.V.

Abstract

The blood content of insulin—like growth factor—1 (IGF—1) in woman with ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is low that may be connect with damage of synthetic function of liver. The use of synthetic analogist of somatostatin in treatment of OHSS don’t lead to reliable positive results. Low content of IGF—1 in OHSS makes pathogeneticaly non—justifight the treatment of OHSS by synthetic analogist of somatostatin.

Suvorov A.N., Savicheva А.М., Glushanova А.V., Oganyan К.А., Grabovskaya К.В., Alaiceva О.V., Zatsiorskaya S.L., J. D., Arjanova О.N.

Abstract

The collection of group В streptococcal clinical strains has been analyzed for the presence of genes encoding for putative adherence and aggregation factors. The presence of the genes designated as sspB1 and sspB2 were tested by PCR and DNA hybridization. The genes under study located in GBS genome on “pathogenicity islands” were found to be heterogeneous and could be associated with urological or invasive diseases. No significant correlation between the GBS serotype and sspB genes pattern have been discovered.

Comparison of the effectiveness of two- and three-phase regimens of replacement, hormonal therapy in climacteric syndrome in perimenopause

Shapovalova К.A., Tarasova М.A.

Abstract

Climacteric syndrom is one of the most frequent complains among females in perimenopausal period that leads to significant deterioration of health. Complex of syptoms— vegetovascular, neuro—psychick, trophic disorders and menstrual disorders is caused by age process of steroidogenesis. The use of combined estrogen—hestagen medicine in perimenopausal period is proved pathogenetically, however every fith woman has climacteric disorders during the breakes of taking two—phase replacable medicine. In this case, it is reasonable to take three— phase replacable medicine, that contain changeable dosage of estrogens throughout the whole period of treatment.

Shipitsyna Е.V., Budilovskaya О.V., Savitcheva А.М.

Abstract

Method of isothermal amplification of nucleic acids NASBA {Nucleic Acid Sequence—Based Amplification) is becoming widely used in diagnostic molecular microbiology including diagnostics of infections in pregnant women and newborn infants. NASBA method possesses the unique ability to amplify RNA target selectively in the presence of DNA target of identical sequence, which determines its main application areas: diagnosis of RNA viruses, investigation of bacterial and viral gene expression, diagnosis of bacterial infections based on 16S rRNA detection. In the article the principle and the main steps of the method as well as some applications in diagnostic microbiology are reviewed. In addition, a comparative evaluation of NASBA and other amplification techniques such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and reverse—transcriptase PCR (RT—PCR) is presented.

Amniotic band syndrome: etiology, clinical features, diagnosis

Vakharlovsky V.G., Koryukov А.A., Belyak N.V., Shikhmagomedov А.А.

Abstract

The article presents the problem of birth defects caused by amniotic bands (AB) — amniotic band syndrome (ABS). This syndrome is of multifactorial origin, the incidence of diagnosis is 7,7:10 000 newborns. ABS is characterized by clinical heterogeneity: limb deformities (occur most frequently), head and brain abnormalities, rare cases of body disorders, omphalocele, etc. Fetal surgery through laser release of AB is described. In some cases ABS should be differentiated from Meckel syndrome, Edwards syndrome and other congenital diseases as well as neural tube defects. In case of ABS diagnosis in fetus as a result of ultrasound examination of a pregnant woman consultation of physicians (obstetrician—gynaecologist, medical geneticist, specialist in ultrasound prenatal diagnostics, neonatologist surgeon) including pediatric orthopedist is needed to determine proper tactics of pregnancy management. Recurrence risks for future offspring of a woman whose child (or fetus in history) has had ABS as well as for the persons with ABS do not exceed 2 %.
