Abstract
The harmful effects of the free radicals on the humans can be reduced by systematic consumption of certain medicinal herbal preparations, biologically active supplements, food products and beverages having good antioxidant activity. Antioxidants regulate normal activity of the human, protect cell structures from damage by free radicals thus protecting body from disease. It is important to supplement the diet with natural substances - antioxidants, which enhance protection against free radicals improving immunity, the body's resistance to adverse external factors, slow down the aging processes.
