KNORRE - DINASTIYa UChENYKh-IZOBRETATELEY

Bogdanova E.S.

Abstract

CITY AS A STAGE: «STARYY» - «BEZYMYANKA» - «KREATIVNYY»

Burlina E.Y.

Abstract

The relevance of research . In 2007, the industrial city of Essen, Germany, and the accompanying "ring" of mining towns in the Ruhr Valley, quite unexpectedly became the European Capital of Culture. Essen did not lose in a number of such senior cities as Athens and Florence, world centers like Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels. On the contrary, the project of an industrial city has generated creative interest. The aim of the project was to solve such problems of industrial cities as the ecology of an industrial city, monuments of factory culture. The core of the project was mining biographies and the memory of the profession. The article provides links to similar transformations of the "Soviet Magnitka" - Uralmash in Yekaterinburg and other industrial cities of Russia. The “case of Samara” is considered in most detail. The author's hypothesis is that there is a rift in Samara between the "old" and "industrial city". This is confirmed by the analysis of chronotopes of different parts of the city and the proposed hypothesis of urban archetypes. Research methodology . The article uses the analysis of biographies and the go-along method. The author's concept of the chronotopic fault of the city became the substantive basis of this article. The cultural projects that the industrial "Bezymyanka" gave birth to give a high assessment of their projectivity, which has outstripped its time. Among the "nameless cultural projects" there is a unique mathematical and aesthetic school, a competition for young musicians named after D. B. Kabalevsky, the Valery Grushin International Festival is the world's largest festival of art songs. The city needed creative projects and it deserves study and further development. Conclusion : the problem of different cultural territories within one city inevitably leads to the division of territories and the inhibition of the creative development of the city as a whole.

APOPHATIC OF SLEEP IN A. GRIN’S STORY “STRUGGLE WITH DEATH”: ONTOLOGICAL AND CULTURAL ASPECTS

Dudareva M.A.

Abstract

Subject of the article: apophatic of sleep. The article examines how the apophatic of culture is implemented through a literary work, namely, it considers the apophatic side of the phenomenon of sleep. Object of the article: A. Grin’s early story “Struggle with Death”. If researchers refer to this text, they consider it only immanently, in the context of all the works by the writer. However, this story is of particular value in the cultural-philosophical understanding of the phenomenon of sleep and death in the Russian version of logocentrism, since in this story sleep is a condition for the character’s recovery, the way out of the morbial state. Research methodology: a holistic analysis of a literary text in the ontohermeneutic way with the use of a semantic research method. Research results: the identification of the apophatic nature of sleep in Grin’s story. Sleep is endowed with ontological properties and meaning-generating functions. The appeal to philosophical reflections on the axiological status of sleep by the German philosopher Rudolf Steiner, whose ideas were shared by the representatives of the Silver Age, especially Maximilian Voloshin, is also productive, since the anthroposophist highlights the apophatic side of sleep associated with day and night human consciousness.

SYSTEM OF ARCHAIC SIGNS-SYMBOLS IN THE ORNAMENTS OF THE MESENA SPINNING ROTARY

Zhogolevа A.A., Stolyarova E.G.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the symbols of the Mezen painting as a single system. The spinning wheel is viewed as a cosmogonic model of our ancestors, where painting is directly related to the content of the image. The object of the research is the archaic symbols of the Mezen painting. The subject is the development of ornaments and prints for decor and product design. The history of the Mezen craft (geography, origins, traditions), the artistic features of the craft (materials, technology) and the semantics of the ornament are studied. The article considers archaic ornaments of Mezeno in connection with the ancient cultures of mankind (the Neolithic era, Andronov culture, Ancient Greece, etc.) and Slavic traditional culture. The article deals with deciphering the semantics of the ornament of the Mezen spinning wheel as a reflection of the idea of the world of our ancestors. The author's development "The symbolism of the Mezen painting in contemporary art" is given, showing the possibility of using the Mezen ornament at the present stage of the development of artistic culture in art and design. THE VEDIC «FEET» OF THE GREEK SPHINX

Pimonov V.I.

Abstract

Object of the article: the riddle of the Sphinx and the Vedic riddles. Subject of the article: structural and semantic comparison between the riddle of the Sphinx and the riddles in “Rigveda” and “Yajurveda”. Purpose of research: to show that the scheme of the riddle of the Sphinx about “man”, based on the description of an allegorical creature which is “two-footed, three-footed and four-footed”, has a structural correspondence in the Vedic ritual-offering formulas, which describe Vedic poetic metres, divided by number of padas (“feet”) in a verse. Research methods: methods of the structural and semantic analysis applied. Results: the author argues that the poetic scheme of the Vedic ritual-offering formulas reflects an Indo-European proto-text, on which the riddle of the Sphinx is based. Field of application: literary studies. Conclusion: The author argues that the description of the Vedic metres in ritual-offering formulas through the allegorical ”two-footed (dvipada), four-footed (catushpada) and three-footed (tripada)”creatures has a structural and semantic correspondence in the riddle of the Sphinx, based on the description of an allegorical creature which is “two-footed, three-footed and four-footed”. The essay suggests that this correspondence between the Vedic formulas and the riddle of the Sphinx allows an alternative interpretation of the Greek riddle on meta-literal level as an allegorical description of poetic forms. The author is indebted to Svetlana Gracheva and Dan Whitman for stimulating discussions and helpful advice.

ON THE FORMATION OF GERMAN REALISM

Bakalov A.S.

Abstract

The relevance of research. In German literary criticism, there is no unambiguous definition of the phenomenon of literary realism, however, at the empirical level, it is understood as a literary system based on a mimetic-oriented depiction of reality, often critically comprehended and subjectively colored due to the norms and ideas that are taking shape in society. Research methodology. Complex and systematic methods of literature analysis are applied. In this article, the author comes to the conclusion that the realism of the turn of the XIX - early XX centuries. retains its main principles of artistic comprehension of the world, and at the same time the signs that do not allow talking about its dissolution in the eclectic picture of the emerging modernity. The main thing remains the disclosure of "the essence of life phenomena through their individualized generalization (typification)", analysis and specific historical logic of presentation Realism at the turn of the 19th - early 20th centuries. closely associated with such phenomena as regional literature, "new business-like", historical novel. On its basis, workers' and proletarian-revolutionary literature developed in many ways. In German literature of the twentieth century. realistic tendencies intensified in the times following the historical and political catastrophes, primarily after the two world wars lost by Germany. Realism played a significant role in the literature of the Weimar Republic (the works of E.M. Remarque, L. Feuchtwanger, L. Frank and others), while in contact with modernist and avant-garde trends (for example, with "new business-like"). Realism turned out to be no less significant after 1945, having equally influenced the formation of the literatures of West and East Germany (writers of the "group of 47", Erwin Strittmatter, "socialist realism", etc.). German realism, which emerged in the middle of the 19th century, was able to demonstrate its flexibility and ability to enter into alliances with other natural artistic directions, without losing its main specificity - the desire for materiality, the authenticity of personal and collective experience, as well as symbolizing the "obvious" with the goal of approaching the "true".

EXISTENTIAL MOTIVES F.M. DOSTOEVSKY IN THE WORK OF H. MURAKAMI

Repinа A.A., Radaeva E.A.

Abstract

In this article, the authors find it productive to explore the relationship between Russian and foreign literature through the prism of the philosophy of existentialism, which is quite popular today. Research methodology : philological analysis of literary texts (problematic approach), comparative analysis with elements of comparative studies. The authors come to the conclusion that Murakami immerses his heroes in situations where it is possible to change everything, but such a situation requires unambiguous decisions and immediate action, but the heroes, for the most part, are endlessly lonely, melancholic people who become themselves an obstacle to making any decisions. They are merciless to themselves, stubborn to the point of absurdity and always torture themselves from within. Each hero has his own deep "Norwegian forest" in his mind, but not everyone finds the strength and resilience to get out of it into a real and noisy Japanese metropolis, continue his life without getting lost in the labyrinth of his own consciousness, and find the main meaning of his existence. Thus, the existential motives of F.M. Dostoevsky are acquiring a new sound in the prose of the Japanese author, who, despite his western orientation, did not succeed in avoiding the imposition of the national mentality proper on his artistic world-modeling.
