Abstract

We studied polymorphism of promoter region of hemostasis genes (MTHFR 677 C-T, F5 G1691A, F2 202010 G-A, FGB -455 G-A) in 120 patients undergoing hemodialysis program. It was found that the development of vascular access thrombosis is associated with the structural features of genes of hemostatic system MTHFR 677 C-T, F2 202010 G-A, FGB -455 G-A.

Kiselyov A.V., Galenko-Yaroshevsky P.A., Sakhnov S.N., Zabolotny A.G., Kirichenko E.Y., Logvinov A.K.

Abstract

Electron microscopic research of corneal endothelial ultrastructure after installation in anterior chamber of a combination of RU-1117 (0,05 %) + visiton-PEG (V-PEG) and V-PEG (apart) after 1 and 24 hours upon insertion. It was established that 1 hour exposure to RU-1117 (0,05 %) + V-PEG did not induce any significant structural changes unlike V-PEG, which was administered on its own. 24-hour exposure to V-PEG in anterior endothelial chamber induced convertible damages with lysis of intracellular structures, while the combination RU-1117 (0,05 %) + V-PEG induced reversible changes in the endothelium.

TRAUMATIC SHOCK IN DEVELOPMENT OF ACUTE STOMACH INJURY SYNDROME

Polyantsev A.A., Linchenko D.V., Karpenko S.N., Kouznetsov A.A.

Abstract

Nowadays we observe an increase in the number and gravity of combined traumatic injuries; their most common complications are the syndrome of acute stomach and duodenal injury. In order to verify the frequency of development and gravity of lesion in the gastroduodenal mucosal layer zone in patients with different traumatic shock severity, we have undertaken a prospective study analyzing treatment outcomes in 135 cases. Early diagnosing of pathological changes in the gastroduodenal mucosal layer zone, usage of various methods for stress-damage prophylaxis in the stomach and duodenum leads to an evident decrease in complications upon traumatic disease.

CLINICAL LABORATORY CHARACTERISTICS OF INFLUENZA IN CHILDREN NOWADAYS

Chudakova T.K., Mikhaylova E.V., Zryachkin N.I.

Abstract

Nowadays influenza in children mostly occurs in moderately severe forms. Patients who get to be hospitalized are often small or preschool children with a history of pre-morbid background and a chronic physical illness. Laboratory indicators of intoxication (CRP level, LII, HTI) are indicators of the severity of the disease, which can predict the development of a more severe course of influenza and its complications.

INTERACTION BETWEEN LOCUS 9P21.3 SINGLE NUCLEOTIDE POLYMORPHISMS AND CLINICAL FEATURES IN PATIENTS WITH MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION

Shesternya P.A., Sergeeva A.S., Matyushin G.V.

Abstract

An association between 9p21.3 locus single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP's) and clinical features in patients with myocardial infarction (MI) was investigated. Both SNP's rs1333049 and rs10757278 of the locus 9р21.3 demonstrated a direct strong association with MI. Carriers of one copy of risk allele rs1333049 had a significantly higher odds ratio (OR) of MI 1,57 (95 % CI 1,18-2,11), for homozygous risk genotype OR was 1,84 (95 % CI 1,37-2,48). Among patients with ST-elevation MI we revealed a significant association of genotype CC rs1333049 with clinical severity assessed by GRACE score (OR of intermediate or high risk tertiles was 1,79 (95 % CI 1,12-2,86).

EFFECT OF SPINAL ANESTHESIA ONTHEOCCURRENCE OF PAROXYSMAL AF IN ELDERLY PATIENTS WITH CONCOMITANT CARDIAC PATHOLOGY (CIHD, AH) DURING ONE-STAGE PROSTATECTOMY

Sadchikov D.V., Prigorodov M.V., Pominova I.V.

Abstract

Based on the estimates of the heart rate variability (HRV) the risk of paroxysm development in spinal anesthesia (SA) in older patients with concomitant cardiac disease (CIHD, AH) during the one-stage prostatectomy was established. An analysis of SDI and HRV parameters in real time revealed initial sympathicotony; thus medicamntous prevention of AF has a greater effect in the prevention of TSR or when the latter is absent.

SURVIVAL FUNCTIONS IN COHORTS OF MEN AGED 40—59 WITH VARIOUS HDL CHOLESTEROL LEVEL DEPENDING ON THE STATUS OF HEALTH (ACCORDING TO 30-YEARS PROSPECTIVE STUDY)

Menshikov A.A.

Abstract

Characteristics of functions of 30-years survival in the studied cohorts of men aged 40-59 with increased HDL-C content show heterogeneity in the beginning, termination, and duration of the periods of reliable difference in the survival curves. The effect of initial HDL-C concentration on the function of 30 years survival among men aged 40-59 irrespective of the CVD status is established. The nature of the effect of HDL-C level on the survival during 30 years period in men aged 40-59 depends on the CVD status and the prospective supervision periods.

Abstract

An assessment of the safety of VMA-99-82 compound was made as to its acute toxicity upon intragastric administration to mice and rats. Taking into account the dynamics of development of clinical signs of poisoning and rehabilitation as well as body mass changes, one can conclude that the compound has good absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and a relatively fast excretion from the body; thus the compound can be classified as low toxic.

THE RESULTS OF USING ALLOKIN-ALPHA AS A STIMULATOR OF LEUCOPOESIS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC VIRAL HEPATITIS B AND C

Miazin R.G.

Abstract

The effects of Allokin-alfa were studied as a stimulator of leucopoesis in patients with chronic viral hepatitis B and C accompanied with interferon induced leucopenia. It is determined that when Allokin-alfa is used in complex therapy it decreases leucopenia and neutropenia and the number of leucocytes and segmented neutrophils (р < 0,05) increases. Thus, it is proved Allokin-alfa has a positive effect on stimulation of leucopoesis and improves the results of analysis in leucopenia in patients with chronic viral hepatitis B and C.
