THERAPEUTIC POTENTIAL OF CROSSLINK BREAKERS

Spasov A.A., Rashchenko A.I.

Abstract

Non-enzymatic glycation of proteins is involved in the development of diabetes complications (angiopathy, cataract, ratinopathy nephropathy etc.), Alzheimer's disease (glycated formation of neurotoxic р-amyloid) and cancer. This process is also involved in the physiological aging of the body To date, the development of drugs that contribute to the restoration of the structure and functions of structural proteins remains a pressing issue.

INFLUENCE OF THE PREPARATION AFOBAZOLE ON THE CONDITION OF PREGNANT FEMALES RATSAND DEVELOPMENT OF POSTERITY IN ONTOGENESIS

Bugaeva L.I., Denisova T.D., Mazanova J.A., Harlamov I.V., Sergeeva S.A.

Abstract

The experiments on pregnant female rats demonstrated that peroral administration of afobazole in a dose of 100 mg/kg from the 6th to the 20th days of pregnancy does not have a negative effect on the psycho-emotional condition of female rats during the periods of pregnancy and lactation. Moreover, the values of the dynamics of weight gain, the rate of muscular force maturation and motor behavior in rat pups were lower than the control ones. In the pups rats receiving Vdefinitive nutrition, the weight gain and behavioural activity did not differ from the control indicators, while the terms of sexual development were later in female rats and did not change in male rats. By the age of two months, the physical development of rat pups was completed and complied with the physiological standards.

Spasov A.A., Rashchenko A.I., Brigadirova A.A.

Abstract

We reproduced an experimental model of studying in vitro re-glycation activity of compounds. The reliability of this method was confirmed be means of the tests employing alagebrium, a well-known advanced glycation end products (AGEs) breaker, in concentrations from 7 to 1,25 mM. The half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of this substance was calculated.

Abstract

Antithrombotic action of the novel diazepine benzimidazole derivative agent DAB-15 having antiaggregatory activity was investigated in comparison to the antiaggregant drugs (acetylsalicylic acid, ticlopidine and clopidogrel) using the electrically-induced thrombosis model in rats. DAB-15 and the compared antiaggregant drugs of acetylsalicylic acid, ticlopidine and clopidogrel demostrated dose-dependent antithrombotic activity. The effect of DAB-exceeded those of acetylsalicylic acid and ticlopidine, but was inferior compared to the activity of clopidogrel.

ANALYSIS OF THE INDICES OF CAPILLARY BLOOD FLOW IN PATIENTS WITH LICHEN PLANUS OF THE ORAL MUCOSA

Makedonova Y.A., Firsova I.V., Poroyskiy S.V., Mihalchenko D.V.

Abstract

The issues of pathogenetic diagnosis of diseases of the oral mucosa remain most complicated and pressing for dentists. The role of capillary blood flow disorders in the pathogenesis of inflammatory - destructive diseases of the oral cavity is quite significant. In this paper we studied the features of microcirculation in healthy subjects and patients with lichen planus both at the site of the lesion and on the symmetrical side using laser Doppler flowmetry. LDF showed decreased indicators of microcirculation both on the affected and the clinically unchanged symmetrical side. Indicators of LDFgrams in healthy subjects differed significantly from patients with erosive and ulcerative lesions in the oral cavity.

EFFECTIVENESS OF PRP-THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF EROSIVE ULCERATIVE ORAL LICHEN PLANUS

Firsova I.V., Poroyskiy S.V., Makedonova Y.A., Piterskaya N.V., Mikhalchenko V.F.

Abstract

Platelet-rich autoplasma, which is currently used in clinical medicine, holds potential as a useful treatment strategy in dental practice. Its use in the treatment of oral diseases, especially those affecting the oral mucosa, as an anti-inflammatory and reparative agent has been shown to be beneficial. The article reviews the results of examination and treatment of patients with oral lichen planus. The patients were divided into two groups based on prescribed therapy (1st group received conventional therapy, 2nd group received platelet-rich autoplasma). Clinical and cytological findings have shown that autohaemotherapy is superior to the conventional method in treating erosive and ulcerative oral lesions, thus proving the feasibility of this technique in the practice of therapeutic dentistry.

SELECTING THE MOST APPROPRIATE METHOD OF FORMING PANCREATODIGESTIVE ANASTOMOSIS AFTER RADICAL PANCREATIC HEAD CANCER SURGERY

Shabunin A.V., Tavobilov M.M.

Abstract

The article presents a comparative analysis of pancreatoduodenectomy outcomes in patients who received reconstruction with either pancreaticojejunostomy or pancreaticogastrostomy, although postoperative results remained unsatisfactory (the pancreatic tissue was soft, the main pancreatic duct was narrowed). The comparison of the results of the reconstruction showed that the formation of a pancreatodigestive anastomosis seems to be the treatment of choice for patients with the soft pancreatic stump and the narrowed duct of Wirsung, thus reducing the number of specific complications and improving outcomes.
