Аннотация
Importance of package for milk and milk products from the point of view of its appearance and mainly of price is stressed. It has been established that today the most popular packaging material is polyethylene film. Its characteristics are given.
The article also contains information about the company Naihrom that manufactures equipment for packaging milk and milk products in the film. Some ideas of specialists about advisability of polyethylene film usage and about activity of the company Naihrom are presented.

Choice of the package for yogurts and milk desserts
Аннотация
The machine-building plant Tauras-Fenix offers to its consumers to provide lines for filling yogurts and milk desserts in PET-bottles with the machine for thermoshrinking labels application. For polyethylene sealed packs the automated machine Pitpack MJ2 is recommended, for paperboard package like Pure-Pak - automated line of revolving-linear type Pastpack TX and for plactics cups - rotor and linear automating machines like Pastpak 4L' are suitable.

Cleaning of a drying plant
Аннотация
Method and device for removing adherent powder from the inner surface of the spray dryer were developed with the aim to improve capacity and safe operation. For this purpose when hot air and product are not delivered to the camera the device installed on the inspection door is set in operating position. After that a tube is put forward into the drying chamber. Stop valve is opened and exhaust ventilation is switched on. Due to the air stream powerful whirl movement of air and dry powder mixture occurs inside the drying chamber that provides an abrasive effect and clean the walls of the chamber.

Primary treatment of whey or how to earn money on it
Аннотация
It is known that casein particles are always present in whey. These particle and fat are usually separated from whey as far as they could violate process of further whey treatment. Besides, removal of these ingredients will also result in improvement of economical efficiency in spite of the type of a treatment applied. For this technological operation the plant OSP-30 is being offered for separation of casein particles and cheese fines.

Identification of the subspecies Lactococcus lactis
Аннотация
Comparing analysis of complete nucleotide successions of the genes 16S pPHK of closely related subspecies of the industrial strains Lactococcus lactis applied as starter cultures for fermented milk products manufacturing was made. Possibility to apply the method for identification of two subspecies of Lactococcus lactis: cremoris and lactis was shown. Existence of unique replacements in the proximal area of the gene 16S pPHK subspacies cremoris has been demosntated that allows precisely identify the cultures L.lactis subsp: cremoris and L. lactis subsp. lactis.

Effects of the complex preparation Lactoperoxidase-lactoferrin-immunoglobulins received from cow milk on animals' resistance to stress actions were studied in vitro. It was established that application of the preparation in animals feed rations promoted resistance improvement against stress. The preparation was found to be nontoxic for animals.

Effects of ferrous sulphate on propionic bacteria

The authors of the article have studied metabolism of propionic bacteria at cultivation in media with different levels of Fe+2. It was found that addition of ferrous sulphate to nutritive media promotes synthesis of metabolites that make adaptation of propionic bacteria to iron ions easier.
