CYTOKINE PATTERN FEATURES OF PATIENTS WITH RECURRENT THROMBOSIS OF ARTERIOVENOUS FISTULA RECEIVING HEMODIALYSIS
Abstract
Serum levels (IL-1, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, IFN-γ, TNF-α) and polymorphism of the promoter region of cytokine genes (IL-6, IL- 10, IL-1β, TNF-α) from 104 patients receiving hemodialysis were studied. It was revealed that the development of thrombotic complications of arteriovenous fistula is associated with structural features of cytokine genes IL-10 and IL-4, as well as serum levels of IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α, IFN-γ.

DEPENDENCE OF MANIFESTATIONS OF MORPHOLOGICAL SIGNS OF MASCULINIZATION IN SPORTSWOMEN ON THE TYPE OF CONSTITUTION
Abstract
The authors revealed specifics of morphological adaptation of women of different somatotypes to regular physical activity. It was established that female athletes of asthenic and normostenic constitution, regardless of sports specialization, show morphological signs of virilization upon adaptation to regular exercise. At the same time, sportswomen with hyperstenic body build showed no reliable evidence of virilization development. These data suggest that the masculinizing effect of sports on women does not depend so much on the type of sports, but rather on the type of their body build.

MANAGEMENT OF PRIMARY PTERYGIUM AT DIFFERENT STAGES OF ITS FORMATION
Abstract
Approaches to surgical treatment of primary pterygium are described. Determining the clinical form of pterygium (stationary or progressing), especially at the initial stage was proposed as an additional method of investigation using optical coherence tomography of the anterior segment of the eyeball. Depending on the stage and clinical form of disease, indications for surgery of pterygium were refined. We propose a method of surgical treatment of primary pterygium with low rates of relapse.

Abstract
Experiments showed that glufimet, a new derivative of glutamic acid, at a dose 28,7 mg/kg and the standard drug Phenibut at a dose of 25 mg/kg limit disturbances of hemostasis under conditions of prolonged stress exposure, which is indicated by a decrease in thrombin time, fibrinogen level, degree and aggregation rate of thrombocytes in animals receiving the studied substances. As to the effectiveness of action, Glufimet exceeds Phenibutum or is comparable to it.

REACTION OF CEREBRAL HAEMODYNAMICS TO SUBMAXIMUM PHYSICAL LOAD IN NEUTRAL AND HOT MEDIA
Abstract
In neutral conditions an increase in blood filling of the cerabral vessels in the beginning of physical work was followed by its stabilization due to an increase in venous outflow. During the development of hyperthermia as a result of continuous blood influx to cerebral vessels while venous outflow remains, venous congestion develops in cerebral circulation.

EFFECT OF ORIGINAL SUBSTANCE 4-CHLOROPHENYL-2-HYDROXY-4-OXO-2-BUTENOATE THIAZOLINEAMMONIUM ON BLOOD CLOTTING AND THE DURATION OF BLEEDING
Abstract
The objective of our work was to study the in vitro and in vivo effect of a new original substance 4-chlorophenyl-2-hydroxy-4-oxo-2-butenoate thiazolineammonium (FS 169) on blood clotting in rabbits and the duration of bleeding in mice. The obtained data indicate that the substance FS 169 is active in the body of rabbits and mice. The substance slows down blood clotting significantly. The duration of the effect produced by FS 169 upon intragastric introduction amounted to 2 hours. Therefore, this material is promising for further in-depth research.

CHARACTERISTIC OF THE STAGES OF TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT OSTEOARTHRITIS ACCORDING TO MRI FINDINGS
Abstract
X-ray diagnostics of patients with temporomandibular joint ostheoarthrosis revealed that changes in TMJ may vary significantly: from partial articular disk dislocation to pronounced deformity of articular surfaces. The extent of lesion has a tendency to increase as more elements of the joint get involved in the process. An analysis of MRI findings from 127 patients with TMJ osteoarthrosis suggests a possibility to define four stages of lesion according to combination of important symptoms.

DAILY MONITORING OF ARTERIAL PRESSURE AND RENAL FUNCTION IN PATIENTS WITH ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION AND OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA SYNDROME
Abstract
In patients with arterial hypertension and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome the authors examined the relationship between symptoms of SDB and the data of daily monitoring of arterial pressure, and with the state of renal function. Both groups were matched for age, sex, duration of hypertension, BP and body mass index. It was established that the main group shows more expressed insufficient decrease of BP at night, a more pronounced decrease in glomerular filtration rate and an increase in urinary albumin excretion.

CYTOTOXIC EFFECT OF BURKHOLDERIA CEPACIA ON TETRAHYMENA PYRIFORMIS CELLS IN COMMON CULTURE
Abstract
The conducted research showed that the microorganisms of B. cepacia complex are resistant to the phagositic activity of T. pyriformis. The cytotoxic effect of B. cepacia against Tetrahymena cells is manifested in the fact of protozoan incystment. The intensity of this process depends on bacterial strain. Thus the most pronounced incystment was observed upon interaction with the strain of B. cepacia 323, a clinical isolate showing enhanced virulence for experimental animals.
