Perepelkin A.I., Kraushkin A.I.

Abstract

A research of the functional condition of female students' feet taking into account their somatotype is conducted with increasing load. A computer-aided system for investigation of anatomic and functional parameters of the foot was elaborated and implemented. The complex consists of medical scales, the scanner and information processing software. Three hundred and fifteen female students using this complex have been surveyed. The research showed that anatomic and functional parameters of the foot essentially depend on the value of increasing loading and somatotype of the girls.

CONCENTRATION OF MAGNESIUM AND CALCIUM IN BIOLOGICAL MEDIAAND GASTROINTESTINAL TISSUE REPARATION IN STRESS RESISTAN AND STRESS NONRESISTANT RATS WITH EXPERIMENTAL GASTRIC ULCER BEFORE AND AFTER ADMINISTRATION OF MAGNESIUM CONTAINING MEDICINAL COMPOSITION

Rogova L.N., Grigoryeva N.V., Hermylov V.V., Povetkina V.N.

Abstract

It was determined that magnesium containing medicinal composition reduced the area of gastric ulcer in resistant and nonresistant rats. At the same time resistant rats showed a higher Mg 2+ content in red blood cells from Vs and Vp as well as a greater magneuresis in combination with an increased concentration of Ca 2+ in intestinal lymph and in the daily volume of urine. Nonresistant rats showed a decreased Mg 2+ concentration in plasma from Vs and Vp, in lymph from common intestinal lymphatic duct; the daily volume of urine decreases while Ca 2+ concentration of in biological liquids increases.

POLYMORPHISM OF ENDOTHELIAL NITRIC OXIDE SYNTHASE AND PLASMA ENDOTHELIN-1 IN PATIENTS WITH RESPIRATORY-CARDIAC COMORBIDITY

Akhmineeva A.K., Polunina O.S.

Abstract

In this study we investigated the relationship between gene VNTR-polymorphism of endothelial nitric oxide synthase, and the level of endothelin-1 in plasma as a marker of endothelial dysfunction in patients with respiratory-cardiac co-morbidity, namely in patients with a combination of COPD + HD, COPD + IHD. We revealed an effect of VNTR-polymorphism on production of endothelin-1 in somatically healthy individuals, patients with mononosology (HD, IHD, COPD) and in patients with combinations of COPD + HD, COPD + IHD. No significant effect of VNTR- polymorphism on the level of endothelin-1 and development of endothelial dysfunction in patients with comorbid combination of COPD + HD was revealed. At the same time it was found that the presence of 4a/4b genotype causes the development of IHD in patients with COPD, and it also promotes overproduction of endothelin-1 in patients with comorbid combination of COPD + IHD, i.e. enhances the severity of endothelial dysfunction.

Beburishvily A.G., Zubina E.N., Spiridonov E.G., Yatsishen V.V., Mozgovoi P.V., Evsiukov O.U., Aleinikova E.S.

Abstract

Radio Frequency ablation of the liver is one of the components of loco-regional therapy including an integrated effect on the tumor; it is recommended by the World Health Organization in management of hepatocellular carcinoma and metastatic lesion of the liver. To determine the working mode and definitive characteristics of the radio frequency impact on the tissue with an experimental use of Cool-tip RF Ablation System generator we examined some parameters of the generator function. Input characteristics include: Power (W), Electric current (I), Electric impedance (Z), Temperature of cooling liquid (T of the liquid), exposure time. Output characteristics are: Temperature, Geometric specification, Histologic specification. The mode and condition of the work of the generator were determined in order to get the maximum values of the cross-section area and volume of tissues of the ablation field with a maximum tissue damage both in the center and at the periphery of the focus. Practical recommendations for the use of a specific model of RFA generator are offered.

INTERCONNECTION OF SELFREGULATION PROCESSES AS A PREREQUISITE FOR HUMAN ADAPTATION

Berdnikov D.V.

Abstract

The peculiarities of interaction of self-regulation processes of different individuality levels have been studied. It was established that external feedback acts as a trigger organizing the interaction of different levels of self-regulation, and the interrelations occurring between them depend on the qualitative activity specificity. It was also determined that the regulatory functions of the acceptor of action result underlie the processes of the realized behavior regulation, and are subject to their return effects which is in conformity with the principles of the systemic concept of human adaptation.

Abstract

On the example of 96 nulliparous women we examined the relationship of cytokine levels with the efficiency of treatment with the standard regimen, with the addition of a second stage of treatment, laser therapy, with the inclusion of tampons with balneologic means Elton (gel), and the combination of these effects. We found that the inclusion of balneologic means Elton (gel) for laser therapy photophoresis made it possible to achieve the maximum effect and to bring down all the investigated cytokines to normal values.

Abstract

Cell-cell communication is vital to proliferation and survival in homeostatic and disease states. This process is regulated by the gap junction family of proteins that utilize connexin subunits to enable communication between adjacent cells. To find out if cell-cell communication was occurring between cells of the same lineage, we used Jurkat cells as a model system.
