IMMUNOTROPIC EFFECT OF ANTIBODIES TO CD4 AND HUMAN GAMMA-INTERFERON IN TREATMENT OF HIV-INFECTED PATIENTS WITH ASSOCIATED TUBERCULOSIS
Abstract
The paper presents data on immune modulating effects of antibodies to CD4 and human gamma-interferon on HIV-infected patients with and without tuberculosis in combined therapy with basic antiretroviral regimens. Antibodies to CD4 and human gamma-interferon stimulate production of endogenous ?-INF; they are functionally associated with cytokines IL2, IL4, with increased numbers of CD4 + T-lymphocytes and a promoted Th2 response.

VALIDATION OF QUANTITATIVE METHOD OF DETERMINING FLAVONOIDS IN INULA BRITANNICA HERB
Abstract
Validation of flavonoids in Inula britannica herb was performed using a quantitative determination technique. The validation showed that all parameters fit into permissible ranges , the developed technique allows stable and statistically significant results. Consequently, the developed technique is valid in accordance with the following parameters: specificity, flatness, analytical area, correctness and repeatability. Thus, it can be used for quantitative determination of flavonoids in the studied herbal raw material.

ROLE OF BIOLOGICAL FACTORS IN FORMATION OF DEVIANT BEHAVIOUR
Abstract
Numerous concepts of deviant, deviating behavior - from biogenetic to cultural and historical ones - are known. Among the causes of various deviations we distinguish social and psychological, psychologic pedagogical, and psycho-biological factors. In this article we consider the role of biological, in particular perinatal, factors in formation of deviant behavior.

TYPOLOGICAL FEATURES OF HIGHER NERVOUS ACTIVITY IN PATIENTS WITH EXOGENOUS-ORGANIC DISORDERS
Abstract
180 patients with exogenous-organic disorders were examined alongside with 140 individuals who did not have any psychiatric diseases. It was found that individual features of temperament of the patients with exogenous-organic disorders mostly determine human adaptive functions. There are criteria that may have a negative influence on social adaptation: such types of temperament as choleric and melancholic.

EFFECTS OF DIBIKOR ON MICROVASCULAR FUNCTION AND BLOOD VESSEL STIFFNESS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEART FAILURE AND DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE 2 IN THE EARLY POSTINFARCTION PERIOD
Abstract
We have studied the effect of Dibikor in the therapy of patients with chronic heart failure and diabetes mellitus type 2 in the early postinfarction period. Dibikor (1 g/day for 16 weeks) in these patients especially with spastic type of microcirculation (MC) exerted a positive effect on the characteristics of MC. There occurred a redistribution of types of MC with an increase in the proportion of normocirculatory type and a decrease in the spastic type. Research has demonstrated that Dibikor therapy improves blood vessel stiffness and endothelial cell function.

MORPHOMETRIC PARAMETERS CHANGES OF MESENTERIC LYMPH NODES IN LABORATORY ANIMALS EXPOSED TO ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD OF INDUSTRIAL FREQUENCY
Abstract
An experimental study of the reaction of mesenteric lymph nodes to the effects of anthropogenic electromagnetic fields was carried out. The phasic type of reaction of lymphoid nodules areas of mesenteric lymph nodes was observed by increasing the duration of the experiment. The significance of the impact of alternating electromagnetic field of industrial frequency defining the nature of the described morphological changes of mesenteric lymph nodes is shown, depending on the time of exposure, with the most pronounced changes in planimetric parameters observed upon exposure to an alternating electromagnetic field of industrial frequency up to 14 days.

GENDER FEATURES OF STRUCTURE-FUNCTIONAL INDICES OF HEART IN CORRELATION WITH PSYCHOSOCIAL FACTORS
Abstract
107 practically healthy employees of a commercial poultry unit (46 men and 61 women) were examined. Hypertrophy of the left ventricle was revealed in 15% of men and 8% of women. The highest rate of personal anxiety and accumulated stress was revealed in the group of women. The detected relations between psychosocial factors and the index of myocardium mass of the left ventricle can serve as the basis for developing programs of primary prevention of stress-associated disturbances of the heart, taking into account the gender factor.

STUDY OF VASODILATOR FUNCTION IN CONDITIONS OF EXTREME PHYSICAL AND PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL STRESS
Abstract
Endothelial dysfunction can be considered one of the key elements of the pathogenesis of pathological conditions associated with extreme physical overloads. NO-producing endothelial function is most vulnerable. The experiment revealed that intense physical loads lead to a decrease in efficiency in animals, deterioration of endothelial vasodilator function of endothelium in the modification of the synthesis and release of endogenous nitric oxide.

MEDICAL AND SOCIAL ASPECTS OF MATERNAL MORTALITY
Abstract
The authors examined maternal mortality rates and causes of maternal deaths in hospitals of the Department of Health in Moscow from 2001 to 2011. Maternal mortality rate in Moscow has decreased by to 1,7 times since 2001, but this indicator is higher than in the Russian Federation by to 1.4 times. The leading cause of maternal death in hospitals in Moscow is medical co-morbidities. The greater part of dead women (more than 50 %) came from unfavourable social conditions and were inhabitants from other regions of Russian Federation and citizens of foreign countries.

REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS WITH CEREBRAL PALSY USING ADAPTIVE MOTION TRAINER
Abstract
We performed a study and rehabilitation of 120 patients with cerebral palsy and spastic dysplegia. In the basic group (60 children) we added original adaptive motion trainers to the complex therapy. The efficiency of therapy in the categories of general motion, self-service, playing was higher in the group with motion trainers. In conclusion, it seems necessary to further develop methods of treatment and rehabilitation of disabled children.

POSSIBILITIES OF PREVENTION OF METABOLIC SYNDROME IN MEDICAL PERSONNEL
Abstract
We studied the possibility of magnesium deficiency correction in medical personnel with metabolic syndrome. The highest magnesium content was achieved in the group of medical personnel receiving Magne B6. A reliably greater level of total cholesterol in the group of patients with magnesium deficiency was revealed in comparison with the group without magnesium deficiency А decrease in the level of total cholesterol was noted after adding drugs containing magnesium to basic hypotensive therapy This results give evidence of magnesium participation in lipid metabolism in patients with metabolic syndrome.
