REGISTER OF GLAUCOMA PATIENTS AS A WAY OF IMPROVING THEIR MEDICINE ASSISTANCE AND REDUCING THE MORBIDITY RATE
Abstract
The modern views on glaucoma as a medical and social problem were analyzed. The crucial point when choosing treatment for the patients with this disease is to make a registry to assess long-term results of the treatment and provide all categories of patients, including benefit-entitled patients, with medications. The solution of these problems will make it possible to preserve visual and other functions of the eye, to reduce disability associated with this disease.

SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS OF POSTOPERATIVE ABDOMINAL SEPTIC COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE 2
Abstract
The analysis of postoperative abdominal septic complications in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 revealed that diabetes complications are associated with microvascular and macrovascular damage. Damage to the small and large blood vessels makes the infection more severe, causes various complications, makes hospital stay longer, all of which can lead to higher mortality rates. Infection markers remain high and progressively increase up to the twenty-first day of stay in the ICU in patients with concomitant endocrine disorders. Positive dynamics of glycemia among non-diabetic individuals can be observed on the fourteenth day of treatment. A significant reduction in mortality rate (4,6-8 %) was confirmed in patients with continuous monitoring and correction of blood glucose levels.

THE IMPACT OF HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE IN PREGNANT WOMEN WITH HYPERTENSION IN THE NUMERICAL VALUES OF THE BLOOD FLOW VELOCITIES IN UTERINE ARTERIES AT 11-14 WEEKS AND ON THE WEIGHT OF THE FETUS AFTER BIRTH
Abstract
Seven female patients with arterial hypertension in history were enrolled into this comparative study We measured the curves of uterine artery flow velocity and estimated the uterine artery pulsatility index at 11-14 weeks of gestation. We collected comprehensible feedback data from all patients to determine the dependence of high blood pressure, the uterine artery pulsatility index and changes in fetal body weight after delivery. We found that there is a relationship between uterine artery pulsatility index and arterial hypertension. We compared the obtained measurements with the previously examined 252 patients whose pregnancy was not complicated with arterial hypertension.

EFFECTIVENESS OF POSTOPERATIVE PROPHYLAXIS OF PELVIC PERITONEAL ADHESIONS IN PATIENTS WITH INFERTILITY USING UPDATED NONPHARAMACOLOGIC APPROACHES
Abstract
The article reviews the results of restoring fertility in women with the use of physiotherapeutic and local natural factors. We examined women with tubal-peritoneal infertility. We evaluated the influence of the applied methods of treatment on the central and peripheral aspects of the reproductive system. The most current empirical evidence on the therapeutic value of the suggested fertility rehabilitation program is provided in the article. Joining the program resulted in 43,1 % of women getting pregnant. These findings suggest that the fertility rehabilitation program of patients with inflammatory tubal-peritoneal infertility significantly enhances the effectiveness of conventional therapy and increases the likelihood of pregnancy.

PINEALECTOMY INCREASES THE RISK FOR DEVELOPING BEHAVIORAL DISTURBANCES AND HEMATOLOGICAL DISORDERS IN RATS WITH EXPERIMENTAL ARTHRITIS
Abstract
Pinealectomized rats developed behavioral disturbances and had elevated inflammation-related hematological parameters which resulted in adjuvant arthritis. This may be related to the deficit of psychotropic and anti-inflammatory activity of the main pineal hormone, melatonin.

CLINICAL AND LABORATORY CHARACTERISTICS OF ADENOVIRUS INFECTION IN CHILDREN AT THE MODERN STAGE
Abstract
Currently, most cases of adenovirus infection in children are associated with moderate symptoms. Adenovirus infection most commonly affects babies and young children (66,7 %). 83,3 % of patients with adenovirus infection develop symptoms of lower respiratory tract injury. Laboratory tests that are used to assess intoxication, such as CRP level, LII, HTI, ISLB, help determine the severity and extent of the disease. It allows us to predict a faster progression toward a more severe disease course and its complications.

HEMODYNAMIC DISTURBANCES IN PATIENTS WITH BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIAAND ACCOMPANIED BY CHRONIC PROSTATITIS
Abstract
We studied hemodynamic changes in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and in patients with BPH accompanied by chronic prostatitis (CP). We found a significant reduction in hemodynamic UVAP and ^AP parameters in BPH group and BPH accompanied by CP group. Patients in BPH accompanied by CP group had more pronounced hemodynamic changes. Patients in BPH accompanied by CP group had a statistically significant increase in RI and PI parameters. The findings suggest the need for further study of hemodynamic changes in patients with BPH as well as in those having BPH accompanied by CP. Further study is required to study the links in the pathogenesis of BPH and CP and to develop and introduce into practice pathogenetically justified, new and more effective methods of prevention and treatment.
