An innovative approach to automated recording of the bottom relief on video in the real time with usage of multibeam sonar Hydrosweep DS
Abstract
The rapid development of the IT and GIS industry actualizes use of the competitive software: precise, automated, effective in use. The paper reports experience in the use of the multi-beam Hydrosweep DS system for smart seafloor mapping by the remote sensing techniques using echo- sounding device. The deep-sea acoustic complex enables to perform high-precision seafloormeasurements and to minimize mistakes and errors associated caused by human induced factor due to the high-level automatization of the bathymetric workflow.
